We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this key role, you will oversee and manage various warehouse functions, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. You will ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be vital in maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating transportation, and fostering a productive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Implement and enforce Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, promoting 5S principles.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
- Address and resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Manage the appropriate distribution and use of PPE.
- Assist with tasks requiring moderate Lifting as needed, ensuring safe practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and logistics best practices.
- Experience with WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to promoting and maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including moderate Lifting up to 50 lbs.
