Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and improve our facility operations in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse equipment and systems, contributing to the overall productivity of our logistics operations. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing upgrades to machinery and infrastructure. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, along with a dedication to Safety and preventative care. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Install and set up new equipment according to specifications.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all equipment operates within Safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
  • Assist with inventory management and parts procurement.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse performance and logistics flow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
