Join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, ensuring that customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work with advanced warehouse management systems and picking technologies. A commitment to accuracy, speed, and Safety is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review order pick lists accurately.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using scanners or pick sheets.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Perform moderate Lifting of items, following safe Lifting practices.
- Wear required PPE consistently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
