Join our vibrant logistics team in Portland, Oregon, as a Picker/Packer! This exciting role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for selecting items from our warehouse shelves, packing them securely, and getting them ready for dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and possesses a strong commitment to Safety and efficiency. - Accurately picking products according to order specifications.
- Using handheld scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve items.
- Packing items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verifying order accuracy before packaging.
- Labeling packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station and overall warehouse environment.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned, which may involve some Lifting.
Requirements:
The ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic reading and comprehension skills. Prior experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus. Must be at least 18 years old. A strong emphasis on Safety and a proactive approach are highly valued. Become a key player in our logistics success!
