We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is fundamental to the daily operations of our warehouse, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking inventory to picking orders and preparing shipments. The Warehouse Worker must be physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our products are handled with care and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including work areas and aisles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Perform tasks requiring manual labor, including consistent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Proficiency in manual lifting techniques and basic material handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics .
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE .
This position requires energy, reliability, and a focus on contributing to a productive team environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and willing to take on various tasks to support the warehouse's success. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow guidelines rigorously, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices to prevent injuries.
