Are you a motivated individual with a passion for efficiency? Our Portland, Oregon facility is looking for an energetic Order Picker to join our warehousing team. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and promptly. You'll navigate our warehouse using state-of-the-art scanning equipment to locate and retrieve products, ensuring that each order is picked correctly and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and productivity within our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or other picking technology.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Meet or exceed picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the overall success of our Logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics is a plus.
