Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Boise, Idaho, and become a vital part of our efficient logistics network. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, handling a variety of tasks essential for the successful operation of our distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and staging goods for shipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. We place a high priority on safety; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices, is strictly required. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and can perform physically demanding tasks throughout their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, scan, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Keep the distribution center clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Consistent use of required PPE is mandatory.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a significant advantage. Must be able to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including lifting up to 55 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics. Strong attention to detail. Familiarity with logistics operations. Excellent punctuality and reliability. Commitment to workplace safety is essential. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Knowledge of scanning and inventory systems is a plus. Proper usage of PPE is expected.
