Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in Tampa, Florida! This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our e-commerce fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Attention to detail is critical to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and preparing packages for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists using RF scanners.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Assist in restocking picked items.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with scanning technology. Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management. Must be reliable and able to work efficiently. Commitment to workplace safety. Team player with good communication skills. This role requires adherence to specific packing standards and the correct use of PPE.
