Join our fast-paced logistics operations as an Order Picker in Seattle, Washington. This critical role ensures that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and a keen eye for detail are essential for success. You will work with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick items from designated locations, ensuring that the correct quantities and product types are selected. The ideal candidate is physically fit, energetic, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities include navigating the warehouse, using scanning devices, and communicating with team members to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or WMS instructions.
- Use RF scanners and other equipment to track picked items.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
