Join our growing team as an Order Picker in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders within our warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will use scanning devices and pick lists to locate and retrieve products from various locations on the warehouse floor. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, a key component of our logistics success. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies, and utilizing the required PPE. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as required.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the logistics department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
