Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in our state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize loss. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a busy logistics environment. You will work closely with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient material flow. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements in the logistics process.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
