You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records. We provide comprehensive training on equipment operation, workplace Safety , and the mandatory use of PPE . This position involves significant Lifting , pushing, and pulling of materials, so physical fitness is essential. A solid understanding of Logistics and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to established procedures.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, shipping docks, and storage locations.
- Perform regular Lifting and maneuvering of materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning and data entry.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear all required PPE , including hard hats and safety shoes.
- Participate in regular warehouse organization and clean-up efforts.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations by optimizing material flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Ability to perform frequent and heavy Lifting and other physical tasks.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and proper PPE usage.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and Logistics principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
