Your role will be central to ensuring our products are sent out accurately, on time, and in compliance with all regulations. You'll be responsible for accurate documentation, coordinating with carriers, and verifying shipment details. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate pickup times with various shipping carriers.
- Verify the contents and count of outgoing shipments against order details.
- Ensure all shipments are properly packaged, secured, and labeled for transit.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update tracking information in the system.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding shipment status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and shipping regulations, including international shipping requirements if applicable.
- Uphold safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving operations as needed to support the overall logistics function.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
