Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy, including item counts and product codes, before packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing and picking areas.
- Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and restocking.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 40 lbs, regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding logistics environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
