Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Transport goods within the warehouse using pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and prepare materials for outbound shipments, verifying accuracy.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues to management promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a material handling or general warehouse role is preferred.
- Physical capability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic material handling equipment.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace regulations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the logistics environment.
