Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our warehouse. This role is critical for efficient movement of goods, ensuring that inventory is managed properly and that shipments are loaded and unloaded safely and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. You must maintain a high level of **safety** awareness at all times, adhering strictly to all operating procedures and company policies. We require all operators to use the appropriate **PPE**, including safety shoes and vests. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving regular **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs, though the forklift will be your primary tool for heavier items. A valid forklift certification is required, and experience with various types of forklifts is highly preferred. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing to the smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas.
- Stock and retrieve materials as needed.
- Maintain the forklift and surrounding work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and operating procedures.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts.
- Use **PPE** as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** operations.
