We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our Atlanta, Georgia warehouse team! This position is vital for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, playing a critical role in our logistics and supply chain operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount. You will use handheld scanners to track inventory and update order statuses. A strong focus on Safety is a must; you will be trained on and expected to follow all warehouse Safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks involving manual dexterity and moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from inventory based on customer orders.
- Utilize RF scanning devices for order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
- Verify item quantities and product details before and after picking.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and warehouse protocols.
- Wear mandatory PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or orders to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as directed.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking accuracy and speed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine manual Lifting of boxes and items as required.
