We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of our warehouse and plays a key role in our logistics chain. As a Distribution Center Associate, your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our operations. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all associates are required to adhere to established protocols and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves a variety of tasks, including manual handling and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Stock inventory accurately onto shelves and designated areas.
- Pick items according to customer orders with high accuracy.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Perform manual Lifting and movement of stock as necessary.
