Our San Diego, California facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including tracking stock levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent loss and damage. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the integrity of our supply chain and supporting efficient logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to ensure accurate data flow and optimal stock rotation. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices is required. This position demands exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of Safety and accuracy. The ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs, and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are also key requirements. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
- Minimize inventory shrinkage and damage.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage the receiving and put-away process for accuracy.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Properly use required PPE.
- Perform occasional moderate Lifting as part of inventory checks.
