Our Salt Lake City, Utah distribution center is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates. In this crucial role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, supporting our Logistics network. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. A strong focus on Safety and efficiency is paramount. You will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, verify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the distribution center.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow established Lifting procedures to prevent injuries.
- Support the overall effectiveness of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or Logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards and practices.
- Basic understanding of Logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
