Seeking a motivated Material Handler for our Phoenix, Arizona warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing various types of goods. Your role is vital to the seamless functioning of our Logistics operations. A strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence is required. You'll be an integral part of ensuring our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Move, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper placement and scanning.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in picking and preparing orders for shipment.
- Participate in cycle counting and inventory audits.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques for heavy items.
- Keep the warehouse organized and free of obstructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification and experience operating forklifts and other relevant machinery.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and Logistics procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
