Our Baltimore, Maryland facility seeks a skilled Warehouse Technician. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery. A strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key. This position plays a critical role in our Logistics network, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all machinery is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to Safety standards.
- Install and set up new equipment as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding equipment operation and Safety.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when required for maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
- Assist with inventory management and organization as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with various warehouse Logistics equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting and bending.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
