Join our bustling warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Warehouse Worker! We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to support our day-to-day operations. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various essential tasks including receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment. This role is fundamental to our Logistics chain, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of products. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to a productive and safe work environment. Strict adherence to Safety regulations and the correct use of PPE is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Logistics concepts is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
