We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks related to the storage, movement, and shipment of goods. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing Logistics network and gain valuable experience in a demanding yet rewarding environment. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping operations. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all established Safety guidelines and utilize the required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials and products from trucks.
- Inspect shipments for damage and accuracy, documenting any issues.
- Store materials in appropriate warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick orders using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load finished goods onto trucks for outgoing delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided/certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and procedures, including the use of mandated PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to Safety.
- Must be able to work flexible hours if needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
