Join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho as a Shipping Clerk! We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to manage our outgoing shipments. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing orders, selecting appropriate packaging, labeling shipments correctly, and coordinating with carriers for efficient dispatch. Your keen eye for detail ensures accuracy in every package sent out, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure that all shipments meet our company's standards. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area is essential, which may involve some Lifting and the consistent use of designated PPE , such as safety vests and gloves. A good understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles is advantageous. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment, and all employees must strictly follow all Safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on outgoing order specifications.
- Select suitable packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply accurate shipping labels and all necessary documentation to parcels.
- Stage prepared shipments in designated areas for carrier pickup.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers regarding pickup schedules and delivery requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping department environment.
- Strictly follow all company Safety policies and utilize required PPE .
- Update shipment status and tracking information in the warehouse management system.
- Handle tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and basic shipping software.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting .
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
