Are you a detail-oriented individual seeking a Picker/Packer role in Huntsville, Alabama? We are looking for energetic team members to join our warehouse operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are key to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in good condition. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using pick lists or scanners, and preparing items for transit. Physical stamina is important, as the role requires consistent movement and some Lifting . We prioritize a safe working environment, and you will be expected to wear appropriate PPE , including safety shoes and gloves. A good understanding of warehouse layout and inventory management is beneficial, contributing to the overall smooth operation of our Logistics . We foster a strong culture of Safety , and adherence to all safety guidelines is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Select appropriate packaging materials for various products.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and packing area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting and movement.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
