You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport materials to and from storage, and assist with order fulfillment. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, a valid forklift certification, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will play a key role in inventory management, ensuring accurate placement and retrieval of stock. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Transport products to and from designated areas, ensuring proper placement.
- Perform regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures meticulously.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and logistics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50-75 pounds).
- In-depth knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
