We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Baltimore, Maryland location. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through regular cycle counts, stock adjustments, and system updates. You will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, analyze stock levels, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve operational efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory management principles. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to ensure accurate tracking of all goods. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. While not primarily a physical role, some moderate Lifting may be required during inventory audits. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS system.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and control.
- Assist in training warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize PPE as needed for specific tasks, such as audits.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
- Support Logistics operations through accurate inventory data.
