We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for our Miami, Florida location. Join our dynamic logistics team and be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within our distribution center. Your duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment processes. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and all operators must strictly adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires a proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently, as well as the physical capability for lifting and maneuvering goods. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a solid understanding of warehouse operations are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to safely move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and other vehicles.
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods to designated areas.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse workflow.
- Complete any required training and documentation related to forklift operation and safety.
