Are you a motivated individual seeking a Picker/Packer position in Nashville, Tennessee? Our dynamic logistics facility is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for orders and preparing them for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict Safety guidelines and utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to handle frequent Lifting. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack orders efficiently and correctly, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all Safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Report any discrepancies or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels.
- Proficiency in basic math is helpful.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations.
