Join our busy San Diego, California warehouse as a Warehouse Worker and be an integral part of our supply chain! This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department. You'll be involved in all aspects of warehouse management, from receiving to shipping. We prioritize a safe and productive workplace, which includes providing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforcing strict Safety regulations. This position involves frequent physical activity, including significant amounts of Lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is required. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring orders are processed correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Sort and place warehouse stock in its proper storage location.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material-handling equipment.
- Keep records of received goods and the quantities of stock received.
- Check for damages and discrepancies in received stock.
- Identify slow-moving stock and communicate to management.
- Assist in taking inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
