Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including staging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs and prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and Logistics procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
