This is an excellent opportunity for both newly graduated Licensed Veterinary Technicians and experienced technicians who are excited to practice high-quality medicine and build meaningful connections with clients and their pets. In this role, you will:
- Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs
- Maintain efficient exam room flow while delivering outstanding client communication
- Review treatment plans, provide clear discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and confidence
- Collaborate closely with the medical team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits and ensure the highest level of patient care
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about patient care, teamwork, and continuing to grow in a positive, respectful workplace.
Schedule:This is a flexible, full-time position with availability needed Monday-Friday.
- Typically three 10+ hour days and two half days
- Includes two weekends per month
- Weekend treatment shifts include working a Saturday morning and returning during closed hours on Saturday night and Sunday to care for inpatient cases
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $16-23 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2,000 based on licensure
- CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license in the state of Alabama
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Cystocentesis
- IV/IM injections
- Microscope evaluation
