Specialist, Google Ads

We're looking for a sharp, strategic Performance Marketing Lead – Google Ads to manage paid campaigns and lead a small team across multiple client accounts. You'll be responsible for hands-on management of our Google marketing execution (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max) to drive results and ensure everything runs smoothly from setup to reporting. If you're great at managing people, optimizing performance, and turning ad spend into real results, this is the role for you. You'll work closely with clients and team members to hit goals, stay on budget, and find new ways to grow our business.
 

In this role you will:

• Manage all aspects of Google Ad campaigns, including budget allocation across various campaigns to ensure cost-efficient ad spend and google merchant center. 
• Update, create and optimize ad campaigns and paid search landing pages 
• Analyze and optimize ad campaigns to increase return on investment (ROI) 
• Use Google Ads to drive a variety of online marketing campaigns 
• Analyze and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase ROI 
• Manage and optimize display campaigns across multiple devices 
• Develop PPC strategies to increase online visibility 
• Collaborate with a team of marketers, Google Ads specialists, and engineers 
• Conduct regular keyword research to identify new advertising opportunities. 
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics, ensuring ROI goals are met. 
• Optimize ad copy and landing pages for higher conversion rates. 
• Stay updated with the latest Google Ads features and industry best practices. 

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field from a reputed post-secondary institution. 
• Minimum 4 years of proven working experience in a related field. 
• In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads), and Google Analytics 
• An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) 
• Google Ads certification not mandatory, but Google Adword or any other relevant certification is a bonus. 
• Competency with using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations for clients

Additional Information

This is a current open position.  The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.  Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
