Early Childhood Educator

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Out of School Care Educator and On-Call Supply Educators at our Little Willows by Kids & Company Webster's Corner location.

• Plan and implement engaging, age‑appropriate programming for school‑age children (5–12 years)
• Provide active supervision and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
• Support children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain attendance, daily health and safety checks, and required documentation
• Support children through transitions before school, after school, and during full‑day programming
• Build positive relationships with families, children, and team members
• Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Early Interventionists) when needed
• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and ongoing professional development

To be considered for this role, candidates must be available:

Spring Break (Full‑Time):

• March 13 – March 30

Additional Required Dates:

• April 6
• April 10
• May 13

Summer Break (Full‑Time):

• June 26 – August 29

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and co‑workers
• Comfortable using computer systems for documentation and reporting
• Strong collaborator with the ability to take initiative
• Effective problem‑solving and behaviour‑guidance skills

• British Columbia ECE Assistant, Responsible Adult, or ECE certification (based on OSC licensing requirements)
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR
• Up‑to‑date immunizations
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds
