The Services Technical Implementation Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and upgrade of cardiology information systems, including servers, workstations, and specialized medical software. This role ensures seamless integration with both internal and third-party systems, supporting optimal clinical workflows and regulatory compliance.
The engineer collaborates with healthcare clients to implement tailored solutions that meet their operational and clinical needs. Responsibilities include system installation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and transitioning systems to support teams. The role also involves managing hardware logistics, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work schedule primarily runs Thursday through Tuesday to align with project needs.
Deploy and configure cardiology software and hardware solutions.
Perform installations, upgrades, system testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with clients to design and implement optimal system configurations.
Conduct onsite asset reviews and ensure smooth handoff to support teams.
Troubleshoot technical issues involving SQL, networking, and system performance.
Maintain accurate records and follow defined implementation processes.
Recommend best practices and identify opportunities for process and product improvement.
Provide management with feedback and ideas for continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent
Willingness and eligibility to travel frequently, on short notice, including internationally
Experience using standard office equipment such as computers and smartphones
Experience using medical test equipment and hand tools
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare or medical systems.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols
Certifications such as MCSE, A+, or Security+ are a plus
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Professional manner, appearance, and discretion in engaging customer
Compliance with client-specific requirements (e.g., immunizations, PPE)
Reliable transportation for coverage area
Self-guided and able to work independently
Strong organizational skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Carry and monitor company phone, be available and responsive during scheduled and non-scheduled hours, except during rest and meal periods as required by applicable state law
Flexible in working hours as this position will require customer support during non-regular business hours, mandatory overtime on short notice, and/or weekend work as necessary
Lift carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 80 pounds, with assistance available
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, and extended reach
Regular grasping and repetitive hand movements
