Account Manager - South Woodham Ferrers - Office Based - Monday–Friday - 8am–5pm - £28,000 per annum + commission Free Parking 28 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays We are recruiting for a commercially driven, relationship focused Account Manager to join a growing, founder led business that continues to expand year on year. This is not a passive account handling role. It’s for someone who enjoys the energy of sales, thrives in a targeted environment, and understands that sustainable success comes from building strong client relationships, not just making high volume calls. The Role This position blends new business development with proactive account management and customer support. While outbound activity is part of the role (circa 50 B2B calls per day made up of a mix of current, lapsed and prospect clients), the focus is on quality conversations, identifying genuine opportunities, and developing long term revenue opportunities. Key Responsibilities: * Proactively managing and developing a geographical portfolio of B2B clients * Making outbound calls to generate new business and identify growth opportunities * Growing existing accounts through structured follow ups and relationship building * Upselling and cross selling from inbound enquiries * Producing quotations, processing orders and raising invoices * Handling customer queries and resolving issues through to completion * Contacting regular clients to identify upcoming needs and promote offers * Producing targeted mailshots and maintaining an accurate CRM database * Ensuring all systems and client records are fully up to date This is a varied role requiring organisation, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced sales environment.
