Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with menu planning by providing feedback on dish execution and suggesting improvements.
  • Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold the restaurant's commitment to excellent food service.

Experience

  • Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling are essential.
  • Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, showcasing familiarity with special dietary needs.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and meal preparation enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
  • Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices is required.
  • Exposure to the food industry or culinary environment provides a solid foundation for success in this role.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality. Pay: From $16.00 per hour
