Duties

• Assist with menu planning to develop appealing and nutritious meal options tailored to dietary needs
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, utilizing strong knife skills and culinary techniques
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support food preparation activities including chopping, mixing, plating, and garnishing meals
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards in both dining and catering settings
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food experiences in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant environment
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
• Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary requirements
• Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills and fine dining presentation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous experience in catering or serving roles is a plus
