• Stable, experienced crew – a seasoned Foreman plus 3–4 dedicated yard staff already in place. You focus on elevating performance, not firefighting.

Reporting to the Director, Western Canada, you'll run the full-cycle operations of the yard:

• Lead safe, efficient receiving, re-conditioning, order-picking and dispatch of formwork & shoring equipment. 

• Drive inventory accuracy, KPI tracking and cost control (overtime, temp labour, transport).

• Champion continuous improvement and digital yard tools to keep product "always inventory-ready." 

• Coach and develop the team; set clear goals for the Foreman and crew.

• Liaise with sales, engineering, and project teams to meet tight site schedules.

• Ensure compliance with corporate HSE and quality standards every day. 

1. 3 - 8 years in formwork / shoring or heavy rental equipment, incl. product know-how.

2. 2+ years as an Operations or Yard Manager overseeing people, yard, and warehouse.

3. Proven P&L or cost-centre understanding – you know how overtime and temp labour hit margin.

4. Track record driving inventory accuracy & asset turnaround in a high-volume environment.

5. Safety leadership – incident-free record and ability to enforce HSE standards.

6. People leadership – hiring, coaching, and performance-managing hourly teams.

7. ERP / yard management systems proficiency for live stock data and KPI dashboards.

8. Ability to coordinate logistics & transport to multiple project sites on tight deadlines.

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.

• Experience launching digital yard/maintenance apps or LEAN / 5S projects. 

• Working knowledge of welding or equipment re-conditioning standards. 

• Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish) for diverse workforces.
