Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is seeking a dedicated and strategic Sales Manager to lead our Volvo and Mack truck sales team and support the continued growth of our dealership. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who is committed to strengthening customer relationships and expanding our presence within the commercial trucking market..

As the Sales Manager, you will oversee all aspects of new and used truck sales, guide and develop a team of sales professionals, and play a key role in driving business growth. You will collaborate closely with OEM partners, manage inventory, and execute strategic initiatives that increase market reach and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to meet individual and departmental goals.
  • Manage daily sales operations, including forecasting, CRM oversight, deal structure, pricing, and contract approval.
  • Focus on proactively growing the business through customer outreach, fleet engagement, and market expansion strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, fleet clients, and industry partners.
  • Work collaboratively with Volvo and Mack representatives to ensure alignment with brand programs and standards.
  • Monitor market trends and implement strategies to increase market share.
  • Oversee and maintain inventory levels of new and used trucks; coordinate with service and parts departments as needed.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, KPIs, and performance updates for executive leadership.
  • Ensure all sales processes, documentation, and compliance requirements are met.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the heavy-duty trucking, automotive, equipment, or related industry.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial truck products—Volvo and Mack experience considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a high-performance sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
