About the Role: We're hiring a Shop Hand to join our production team, assisting with finishing, packaging, incoming inspection, and general shop support in a fast-paced precision machining environment.
This role is on our Day Shift (Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm).
This is an entry-level role – no prior manufacturing experience required. We're hiring for attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. Training will be provided.
You'll work closely with the Quality Manager and Shipping Manager, spending most of your day assisting with handwork, polishing and deburring precision-machined parts. Other responsibilities will include packaging parts, preparing orders for shipment, inspection of incoming parts, and helping wherever needed in the shop.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform post-machining finishing operations including deburring, polishing, and handwork.
- Receive and inspect parts returning from subcontractors.
- Package machined parts according to customer and internal instructions.
- Prepare orders for shipment and ensure parts are protected and labeled correctly.
- Support general shop needs and basic equipment upkeep.
- Accurately record work and movement of parts in our ERP system (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

- Physically able to lift and move parts and packages.
- Comfortable using a computer for basic data entry.

- $19–22/hour, with opportunities for overtime.
