ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Senior Product Manager for the Global Product Intelligence team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our AI product strategy within a key product area. This role is critical in shaping the future of Plusgrade's AI capabilities, focusing on evolving our initial offerings into sophisticated, autonomous AI-powered solutions. You will act as the bridge between customer needs and technical execution, driving alignment across the organization to deliver high-impact results for Plusgrade and most importantly our partners and their travellers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will:

Define, write, and drive alignment on the 3-year plan for one or more AI-driven solutions.

Create operational plans and roadmaps for key milestones and resourcing.

Partner with Data Science, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to evolve solutions toward autonomous decision-making.

Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Engineering, Legal/Policy, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment on plans.

Understand customer and consumer needs to identify how AI-driven solutions can address those opportunities.

Lead communication with customers to ensure they can achieve the full benefits of the solution.

Utilize written documentation to drive decisions, ensuring clarity and transparency across teams.

Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including requirements and progress reports.

Stay informed about opportunities in applied AI from news, academia, and other industries.

Identify and assess potential threats, including competitive pressures and changing customer needs, to incorporate into product planning.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

5+ years of experience in product management within complex technology environments.

A proven track record of success in defining and launching successful products.

Experience working with and managing cross-functional teams, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create documentation that drives decisions.

A strong customer focus and the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.

NICE TO HAVES:

Strong understanding of AI concepts and technologies.

Experience in the travel or loyalty industry.

$130,000 - $150,000 a year The base salary range is tailored to the advertised location and determined by several factors, including candidate expertise and internal peer equity. Final placement is based on a candidate's specific skill set and experience relative to the role's requirements.
