The Position:
Provides administrative and technical support to the Applications Engineering Department. Ensure effective, efficient and accurate administrative is provided on the company's behalf. Contribute to technical discussions, project designs, and department continuous improvement initiatives. Work directly with Partners, Management Employees and Customers to deliver the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.
What You'll Be Doing:
- General office duties using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organizing, reviewing, or summarizing documents and other information coming in from the Customers.
- Generate visuals for project concepts.
- Assisting in obtaining Vendor pricing.
- Modifying or generating documents for use within the Applications Department.
- Carry out any specific duties assigned by the Applications Supervisor.
- Contribute accurate documentation for each project.
- These responsibilities are subject to change as a function of the individual's abilities.
- Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules and procedures.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code.
- Working on a post-secondary engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in mechanical, electrical, systems or computer engineering.
- Strong programming, mechanical and electrical problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Understanding of robotics, control systems and machine operation with hands-on experience is desirable.
- A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Students should be enrolled in a post-secondary academic program requiring a co-op/work term
