Byron Pet Clinic is excited to welcome both experienced and newly certified veterinary technicians to apply for our *Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)* position. We’re part of a trio of locally owned, well-staffed clinics serving the greater Rochester, MN area—including Meadow View Veterinary Clinic and Stewartville Animal Clinic. Together, we prioritize collaboration, communication, and staff development.
We maintain staffing ratios that allow our DVMs to work efficiently and provide top-notch care, with a target of 2–3 CVTs per veterinarian, along with additional support from assistants and client service staff.

Byron Pet Clinic is designed with efficiency, comfort, and quality care in mind. While smaller than our Meadow View location, we maintain the same high standards of medicine and patient service. Our network allows us to refer internally for advanced services and to share knowledge, mentorship, and staffing support across clinics.

* Dedicated dental suite with digital radiography
* Fast-scan ultrasound
* Canine rehabilitation with a water treadmill (and soon a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner)
* Cold laser therapy
* Acupuncture therapy
* Orthopedic surgery
* Stem cell therapy

*Flexible, Balanced Schedules*
We understand that flexibility is key to maintaining wellness and job satisfaction. Our scheduling is designed to fairly balance clinic needs with personal time.
*Typical Hours at Byron Pet Clinic:*
* *Monday - Thursday:* 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
* *Friday:* 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
* *Saturday:* 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (rotating at Meadow View)
*Compensation & Benefits*
We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
*Pay Range:*
* Non-Credentialed Technicians (with degree): $18-21/hour
* Newly Credentialed CVTs: $20–$23/hour
* Experienced CVTs (3+ years): $22–$28/hour, based on skill and specialization
