Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Software Engineer role based in Vancouver, BC. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimize software solutions, emphasizing back-end systems, object-oriented programming, and scalable code. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing new features, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring the performance and security of our health tech platform. The role requires hands-on problem-solving, an innovative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software that enhances user experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development technologies such as Python, Java, or
• Experience in Software Development and Programming, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging
• In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write efficient, maintainable code
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with database systems, cloud-based infrastructures, and Agile methodologies is a plus
