Sales Associate/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and promoting our products through effective sales techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
• Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling procedures
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and displays
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as required
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of POS systems and retail merchandising practices
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide outstanding customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse customers
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.20-$18.39 per hour
