Accountant

Job Summary
I am seeking a freelance accountant company. I will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while utilizing a variety of accounting software and tools. Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other systems for bookkeeping and financial management
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Prepare financial reports and statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Support payroll processing and related activities
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping processes
• Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures
• Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, budgeting, and financial services
• Ability to perform detailed account analysis and support payroll functions
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams
• Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,177.04 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
