Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will play a key role in preparing and plating high-quality dishes according to our recipes and standards. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for long-term growth. We believe in promoting from within, and we are committed to helping you advance to positions such as Senior Cook or Sous Chef.
Key Responsibilities:
· Food Preparation: Set up and stock your assigned station with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
· Cooking: Prepare food to the exact specifications of the chef, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
· Quality Control: Ensure all dishes leaving the line are consistent, fresh, and garnished correctly before being served.
· Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work station. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling.
· Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the expo, servers, and other cooks to ensure tickets are fired and finished on time.
· Inventory: Assist with restocking items and rotating product (First In, First Out) to minimize waste.
· End of Shift: Break down and clean your station at the end of the night, ensuring the kitchen is ready for the next shift.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook is preferred but not required for motivated entry-level candidates.
· Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, busy environment.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills.
· A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
· Food Handler's/Food Safe certification is a plus.

Contract length: 9 months
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
