Our client:
A leading technology company operating across North America, offering a suite of fundraising, donor management, financial tracking, and communications software to impact-driven organizations.
Our client is looking for a seasoned outbound seller to source, develop, and close new business with mid-market and enterprise nonprofit organizations. This is a strategic, high-impact role for a self-sufficient pipeline builder who can open doors with complex organizations, navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes, and run full-cycle motions with confidence. This role is foundational in standing up and scaling the company's outbound sales engine.
Principal tasks and responsibilities include:
Own the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and pipeline creation through discovery, demonstration, negotiation, and close.
Build and manage a robust outbound pipeline, consistently meeting top-of-funnel activity and SQL creation targets.
Identify high-potential accounts, build account-based outreach strategies, and refine outbound playbooks.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Marketing to continuously improve outbound sequences, messaging, and ICP targeting.
Conduct tailored product demonstrations across the company's full suite, with emphasis on consultative discovery and value-based selling.
Engage multi-stakeholder decision groups including executive directors, fundraising teams, finance leaders, boards, and IT stakeholders.
Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and clear visibility into deal momentum.
Track activity, progression, and conversion rates in CRM and provide insights to leadership on risks and opportunities.
Work closely with Customer Success and Services teams to ensure smooth handoffs and strong long-term customer outcomes.
Provide market feedback and competitive insights to Product and Marketing teams.
Qualifications and pre-requisites:
5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years in outbound-heavy roles (80%+ self-sourced pipeline strongly preferred).
Proven track record of sourcing your own pipeline and consistently exceeding quota in outbound environments.
Experience selling into nonprofits, fundraising teams, or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred.
Strong command of consultative selling, value-based selling, and multi-threaded account strategy.
Demonstrated ability to navigate long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and close high-value deals ($25k-$100k+ ACV).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions for diverse audiences.
Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and modern sales engagement tools.
Background in nonprofit SaaS, SMB/Mid-Market CRM, restaurant tech, or SMB payroll/HRIS is a strong asset.
